Context

Motion Shield is a UK-based claims platform helping drivers and insurers resolve motor insurance cases in real time. I was the sole product designer responsible for defining flows, crafting interfaces, and building a design system for the drivers (users), all within 3 weeks as part of the Block Dojo incubator.

The Problem

For drivers, car incidents are already stressful. What makes it worse is:

  • A broken or slow insurance process

  • No visibility into claim progress

  • Confusion when dealing with another party

For insurers, it’s the cost: slow processing, fraud, and low retention.

The Solution

Motion Shield simplifies digital incident reporting — for both sides. Users can:

  • Instantly report accidents via the app

  • Invite the other party using a QR code (even if they don’t have the app)

  • Track real-time claim updates

  • Access virtual roadside assistance
